About Penny Dickson,
I started in the saddlery trade in 1979 as an apprentice at The Canterbury Saddle Center, from there I worked in a saddlers in Gravesend before starting my own company in the Medway Towns, I then worked as a self employed saddler right up to now!
I have recently relocated to Worth nr Deal, and have a lovely workshop at The Worth Centre. where I hand make all my own items,
I primarily make `one off ' saddles and bridles but I like a bit of variety and make or repair many other items, including costumes, archery equipment, dog equipment, leather items for old cars and bikes, if I think it's possible I will have a go!
We own two horses and are currently training in the art of horseback archery, I also have a love of theatre and costume, which reflects in the cross section items that I make, both for customers and our own competition use..
